Unknown Tomb (Tomb of Munir Maghfouri)- a joint HF/SC and PCF Heritage Conservation project

On 8^th September 2018, a visit was made by Director General Archaeology, Mr. Manzoor Kanasro, Director Abdul Fatah Shaikh and other officers to HF’s Zero Carbon Cultural Centre (ZC3) and the Unknown Tomb located at the eastern edge of the Makli ridge, where they were received by the HF Team consisting of Ar. Yasmeen Lari, CEO, PM Naheem Shah and Heritage Architect Ashfaq Ahmad. This tomb has been taken up for conservation as a joint shared project with CER-NET, Prince Claus Fund and Heritage Foundation of Pakistan. Recently, Ms. Safeeyah Moosa, Spiritual Chords, South Africa has kindly agreed to join this effort. The Archeology Department team was joined by Mr. Ayaz Kazi Mahessar, who until recently was representing UNESCO in Sindh.
