Business Recorder published an article by Dr Yasmeen Lari on how to prevent heat island and urban flooding in Karachi.

Dr Yasmeen Lari designed and proposed a 13-segment trail from Denso Hall to Custom House, each segment named after prominent historic buildings. The trail aimed to decarbonize and green Karachi, mitigating climate change impact. However, state funding was limited, yet the project was initiated in January 2020 and first segment was completed in 2021.
