Centre of Sustainsbility Solutions has published Yasmeen Lari’s Zero Carbon Women Centre in  Khairpur built entirely with bamboo as an example of sustainable construction.  The piece is being permanently displayed in its long term home in Spotlight Archive at Centre of  Sustainability, University of Glasgow, UK.

EMPOWERISTAN - Pakistan’s Climate-Smart, Women-Centered Empowerment

Exciting series of events have been planned to be organised in UK by Heritage Foundation in collaboration with British Council,  INTBAU Pakistan and INTBAU UK to showcase Pakistan and strength of its women through zero carbon structures of LOG (Lari OctaGrenn) and Pakistan Chulah designed by Architect Yasmeen Lari. The celebrations will be held from 21-25th March in Granary Square, King's Cross London around the LOG to be built by 2 female architects who have been provided scholarship for travel and stay in UK, and Pakistan Chulah to be built by rural female artisans from Mirpur Khas including the Chulah icon  Champa."

Laying of Terracotta pavement at Murad Khan side section of Denso Hall Rahguzar

This pavement and clearing of the Murad Khan Road is a result of collaboration between local shopkeepers and Heritage Foundation as well as ongoing support from D.C. South. The terracotta paving is bring laid by HF while the portion of stone pavement is being financed by shopkeepers - the first instance of investment by shopkeepers into upgrading of their environment which shows a sense of ownership and pride in the street.
